Two Little Fish was a member of the Governor's Taskforce to reduce usage of single-use plastics. Owner Tim Brennan spoke as subcommittee chair of the Lead by Example subgroup, as 2littlefish has already gone plastic free for ocean health! It's at the end of the video, but check out the entire clip, it's worth it. We are, after all, the Ocean State. :)

Due to a very abusive change of terms by Groupon towards its merchants (that's us), Two Little Fish cannot offer a Groupon deal for the upcoming season. Of course, we will honor all Groupons previously sold in years past and we will redeem them for the original purchase price. A Mystery solved! In the spring a couple stopped in to Two Little Fish and brought a gift! I was running an errand and missed them. All summer long I wondered who made this wonderful quilt! Then after Labor Day the identity of my mystery benefactor was revealed when they dropped by one last time before summer's end! Again, thank you so very much, especially now that it is getting chilly outside! :)

Well folks, that's a wrap for the 2018 summer season. Two Little Fish has been swabbed, scrubbed, steam cleaned, painted and squared away until the spring. Here's a look at the fall cleaning. If you keep a weather eye on the horizon you will spy us April of '19 for fresh affordable seafood served with a smile. :)

It was quite nice that Governor Raimondo issued a certificate of recognition in honor of Two Little Fish's recent 21st anniversary. A thoughtful and considerate gesture on her part, and much appreciated by us all for this unasked for and surprising honor! :)

This donation of dry goods, butter, staples, fruits, flours, juices, dressings, spices, seafood and meats will help to meet the needs of those in need. Every year at the end of the season 2littlefish donates all that we have to the Warm Shelter to feed those who go without. The remnants of Hurricane Florence did not deter us. Much good can be done by those who care. Please remember to help those who go without. :)

So much good work is done by those who care. A portion of every meal sold at 2littlefish is donated to the Animal Rescue Team of the Mystic Aquarium. Good luck, guys! :)

One last chance to come down to 2littlefish for our final weekend. Open 11-2 daily, closing on Monday, Sept. 17th for the season. BE ADVISED that all fishing boats on the entire east coast are staying in port or heading to shore due to Hurricane Florence, shellfish beds will be shut down, some menu items such as clams, tuna, etc WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE due to dangerous waves. That is the nature of the seafood business. A butcher doesn't risk his life to cut a steak, don't expect a fisherman to risk his to catch someone's lunch. Sorry, folks. :)

Two Little Fish is a family restaurant. There is a reason the word "family" precedes the word "restaurant". That's because family comes first. We always try to welcome our customers like family. Well, tomorrow, the Westerly schools will close early due to the 100 degrees temperature, and we must be home to get our kids safe off the bus, or pick them up, and not leave them home alone. So 2littlefish will be closed tomorrow, see you Friday for lunch, 11:30-2.

Many of you have asked what our post-Labor Day hours will be. So here it is: Labor Day open 11-3. CLOSED the day after for a well earned day off. Then 11:30-2 lunches only until the 17th of September as long as the sun shines. Hours are weather permitting if it rains we will not open for the day.

2littlefish had our 21st birthday today! We started serving fresh affordable seafood with a smile on this day back in 1997. Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo extended birthday congratulations and best wishes during her visit to the restaurant the previous week! Looking forward to the best years still ahead!! :)

The reports of the demise of summer have been greatly exaggerated. Summer is still going strong at 2littlefish as plenty of beach going seafood fans visited us today! :)

Zippo the Clown entertains children and parents alike as they await their dinner at 2littlefish! Catch Zippo and his Rhody's Red Nose Circus for their last performance on Tuesday at 7:00 pm in front of the Big Screen at the Drive-In Theater right next door to 2littlefish. We are happy to be a presenting sponsor with the MBA for this family-friendly entertainment unique to Misquamicut Beach! :)

2littlefish and the MBA is happy to be a sponsor of Rhody's Red Nose Circus, which began its summer run of performances right next door to us in front of the big screen at the Drive-In movies. Every Tuesday laugh at the clowns, thrill to the trapeze and high wire, marvel at the jugglers and acrobats, enjoy some cotton candy, and one kid free with each adult admission of 10 bucks. Kids, don't try this with machetes or Mom's wedding china! :)

Turn the volume down, folks, before you hit play on this one! Many fans of seafood and fire engines came down to 2littlefish, grabbed a picnic table on the deck, and watched the annual 2018 Smokey Bear Parade pass by in all its deafening glory! The firemen made frequent stops to hand out fire prevention material and fire safety tips for the kids. As usual, the best seat in the house is at Two Little Fish! If you missed it, you have NEVER seen a parade like this, so enjoy! But I warned you: turn the volume down! :)
